My first design was a bit dark, so let's take a look at the second design in continuation to the first that's a bit lighter.
DESIGN #2
CONCEPT #1

Before working on creating designs for prevention of these selfie culture issues, I wanted to first try collecting qualitative data of people reacting/talking to these issues by sharing their thoughts and opinions to get more in-depth research about people’s attitudes towards these issues.

After collecting qualitative data, they can be shared and communicated as data visualization for people to read and understand how they feel about these issues and even give people insight that they are not the only ones suffering/affected by these issues. The way I wanted to collect data is by printing out my comic strips and pasted them on a sheet of paper to post them around the OCAD Building(s) to get students responses on these issues anonymously.

REFLECTION

Within a couple of days, most of them were torn down or left on the floor and I didn't get too many responses. Since I did not get many responses, I decided that I want to focus on spreading prevention of the harms of selfie culture.

FINAL DESIGN

After I created the dark satiric comic strips that depicts the problem, I want to pose a safety selfie tip for each of those stories as the moral/lesson of the narrative in light humorous way. Considering there are meme accounts that follow me on Instagram, I want to depict the safety selfie tip in the form of a vector-illustration of a popular meme that is personified with an iPhone, followed by pages that discuss the reason behind the prevention tip.
